If your asking what a G-Shock is, I just got one question for you...HAVE YOU BEEN LIVING UNDER A ROCK?! It's just about one of the hottest accessories out there right now - next to a pair of Dolce&Gabbana sunglasses and a Gucci belt of course...but anyway, back to the story lol.

Now let's say your an alien and you crash landed on earth about 5 years ago - you start to observe that a good chunk of the human population began to sport these stylish gadgets on their wrists...you would think they where something new right??...WRONG!!! G-Shocks have been around for about 26 years now. I can say with a fair amount of accuracy (at least I think so) that, that's longer than most of the people wearing them have been alive. And you probably didn't know that the company that makes them were in the business of manufacturing calculators prior to creating the latest fashion craze.

The G-Shock became extremely popular when hip hop artists like Pharrell Williams and Kanye West were spotted with these unique wristwatches. They've since been coated with a little icing (diamonds, ya' dummy) and manufactered in a variety of colors and styles. With models like the G-Lide, Mudman, Baby G and the ultra rare Frogman and Bape series becoming extremely demanded, it would seem as if Casio has their work cut out for them.

Every body and their mom is trying to snatch up one of these babies and add it to the jewelry box and the number one reason is because they are so rare. Therefore, everyone has the same question..."Where are G-Shock's Sold?" Well...short of hopping on a plane and flying to japan, you probably won't find them at your local watch store. They're primarily sold at boutiques that carry high end urban fashion such as Ice Cream, BBC, Kid Robot, and BAPE. Other than that, the only place to get them is on the internet but, you have to keep a careful eye and learn how to spot the fakes.

I've spent alot of time searching google for G-Shocks for sale and I've wasted alot of time looking at worthless sites. Consequently, I put together a list of sites that usually have the most popular ones im looking for, check 'em out:

Always a good choice...they dont usually have the rare watches but, they have a lot of great colorful G-Shocks. I've grabbed up a couple here to complete some outfits.

The G-Shock Shop
A fairly new site that showcases nothing but G-Shocks in a variety of styles from a number of good sites on the internet. You can buy the ones you like with just a few clicks...I've got my eye on a couple from here.

eBay
I bought my first G-Shock on eBay...it took about a month to get shipped out to me but, it was definitely worth it. As with buying anything on eBay...BEWARE OF FAKES!!!! There's always somebody on there trying to sell BAPE G-Shocks for $30 or something.

They don't carry a lot of G-Shocks but, they have a handful of pretty good ones. As well as some great clothes that'll be sure to help complete what ever look your going for.
